Hello out there in Blog land, Today July 27, 2010 is going to be the first day of my Random as i call it ,or shall i say Bologna,or thoughts.... Alot happened this weekend alot of communicating ,laughter,sun, water you name it it happend.The pictures you see are of myself in the Grey hat my Boyfriend of 5 years and my Crazy sista.
So it all started with the radio . My sister comes home to tell me in very loud intense words, "AMBER YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO THERE GIVING AWAY TICKETS TO THE BOISE MUSIC FESTIVAL."Now mind you this is happening in very high pitch tones yelling, waving hand motions to get my attention type of annoying sisterly behavior,while i might add im trying to give my daughter food and listen to my mom tell me that the her garden needs to be watered and if i can ask my boyfriend to take out the trash.Funny lets back up a little.........
We and by we i mean. My boyfriend Steve myself and Kaiden our daughter move 12 months ago to a town meridian in Idaho from Las Vegas Nevada,Why? you ask, well Las Vegas being the fun crazy town it is got old and when i mean old i mean old. Dirty, weird town too crazy for my taste any more,I had to get out and so did my boyfriend so we hoped for the best and headed up to idaho where thankfully my parents lived.To raise and have a better life and family for ourselves.Not having to wonder or worry about shootings on the Las Vegas strip , or Schools for that matter. Any who. .
As i was saying, she wants me to ask Steve to take the trash out. Kaidens making a mess all over the Kitchen floor, and Brenna gets home to Crazy talk me about listening to the radio to win tickets because she has to go, and it will be soo much fun. Hold on i say Um Dude can we just take a breather for a sec . Whats going on So many people are trying to get my attention.. Dang but yet every one needs me. Yikes . So i let Brenna say what she needs to say about winning the tickets and for the next i don't know 2 weeks we and when i say we i mean Me. Are constantly on the phone listening to the radio trying to win Damn tickets to the Music fest . So just days till the fest im listening to the radio in the car with Brenna and what happens i get through. And i win .Not only do i win but the DJ is from Vegas so we Bologna on the Air. He tells me to get down to the radio station to pick up the tickets so brenna and i head back home from our outing to get dressed and take off to pick up our tickets.
Thats not the half of it we get down to the station and Nathan the DJ looks at both Brenna and I and says im going to use you . My sister and i look at each other with a Holly Hell look and say to him Ok. Long story short we get shout outs on Air and welcomed Nathan on the Air, Good times , ended up being well worth it.
We get home to listen to the radio some more and Not even 20 mins later Brenna comes screaming in , and this time im on the phone with Steves Dad from NJ , Guess what i Just Won F ing tickets to a concert tonight.. Amber did you hear me? Oh! my gosh ,I'm on the phone trying to give her hush words to shut her up so i can listen to His Dad and of course shes not paying attention . Another Long story short one hour later im dressed Brenna's dressed and we are headed Downtown Boise to see Adam lambert and might i add we have no clue as what we are getting ourselves into.. Dont really know his music, but what the Hell free tickets Right? We endend up having a pretty good time even though seeing the DJ again and sitting next to him was kinda weird but hay FREE...
Ok so to get into the Boise Music Fest you had to either win tickets on the Radio or drive to certain locations and pick them up. Another free event. Ha!!!!IT arrives its the Day of the festival weeeeee!!!!! were ready. Our group contains myself Brenna,Steve My Mom, kaiden and my Aunt. We drive all the way down to Ann Morrison park to await the festivities.. Did we really bring all this stuff im thinking to myself wow, for an all day event we sure as hell need alot of stuff. Chairs blankets umbrellas food water the Baby.... Ha! Ha! Are you guys listening out there? Hopefully you are . Any way could it be any Hotter probubly the hottest day so far for Summer. And stupid us were out at an all day out doors fest. The Crowds oh the crowds they just keep coming . I hadn't seen that many people in one area in so long. WE end up finding a spot to set up our stuff. Thank God and Myself Brenna and Steve take off to find Beer while Kaiden and my Mom stay back to kick back and relax. The bands were pretty good alot of no names but they wernt all that bad. Thinking in my head as i always think, im wondering when are they going to collect the tickets that we won. the day goes on and Margarita after Margarita and Beer After Beer.. Till the Main stage is finally happening Macy Gray hits the Stage Now at this time the crowd was so huge that trying to find your spot was like a needle in a hay stack. Brenna myself and Cristina brennas friend at the time of Macy Gray were out and about getting food and drink ... Bad idea. I get back with the baby who has finally fallen asleep to our spot to a huge crowd yelling and screaming. Hot and thirsty i finally relax and the night goes on 3 major bands later and No Ticket takers. WHAT THE HELL >>>>>>> The whole time 8 hours of a fest and they never took our tickets what a crock. Oh well we ended up having a really good time and it just kept going . Ill tell you more about the rest of our crazy weekend tomorrow ok hope your listening until then goodnight. A
